John Davidson III Also Wanted On Drug-Related Charges When Shot When Trying To Rob Store—The suspect, John Arthur Davidson III, is in the hospital in serious condition with two bullet wounds. Investigators are waiting until he gets out to arrest and charge him. He was wanted on outstanding drug warrants as well. John Davidson III is hospitalized with wounds in his lower right leg and his upper right torso, when trying to rob a store and police say Davidson was shot by a clerk at Bethpage Grocery.

The Bethpage Grocery store owner gave the clerk who shot Davidson the day off.  He says she is physically and emotionally shaken up. The store owner says he’s been robbed three times in the last three weeks and believes Davidson is responsible for all three. Continue reading →
